NOTE (23 Feb 2007): no, this project is not abandoned yet. I've planned to rewrite pkgsummon as a library, used by several user interfaces (gtk+-based, qt-based, ncurses-based, etc.); this would greatly extend the application usability, as well as the ease of code maintenance, by keeping the ui part and network part separated. Although some work has been done already, in this period I don't have enough time to bring it on. Hopefully, some day the rewrite will be completed.
